Your trainer will meet you in your home, or at a pre-determined location, for each scheduled session. They will demonstrate training skills designed to address your dog's specific training needs. At each session, you will also receive easy-to-achieve homework assignments to help you reach your training goals. Typically, sessions are scheduled on a weekly or bi-weekly basis depending on your preference and schedule. You can pay as you go or select a package recommended by one of our trainers.
Your first session is the foundation of your pet’s behavior journey—and your first training lesson!
You’ll complete a detailed New Client Questionnaire.
We’ll review it ahead of time so we can dive right into the session and make the most of our time together.
We'll review:
Your pet’s behavior and medical history
Daily routine, environment, and past training
Your top concerns and goals for your pet
You'll learn:
How your pet learns and how behavior change works
Practical ways to reduce stress for your pet right away
How to balance physical and mental exercise
How to read your pet’s body language and spot early signs of stress
We’ll also:
Review any video footage you’ve captured (no need to stage problem behaviors—we trust you!)
Give you actionable steps to implement to reduce unwanted behaviors
Follow-up sessions may be recommended to support ongoing progress.
We’ll continue to adjust your plan based on your pet’s needs and your feedback.
We’re happy to coordinate with your vet, veterinary behaviorist, groomer, sitter, or dog walker to support your pet’s success.
